lisa, bill, scott and I camped at the dunes, went canoeing, star-gazed the observatory, and battled b'squitos.

moving- boise bike project
public service announcement
a few of us added our bodies to the crowd supporting kristin armstrong's PSA for local television, to promote bike safety and driver awareness. boise has lost several bikers this year to accidents.
final chapter- south
olivier's parents, gilles and nicole, gave us a wonderful mediterranean experience

the semi-circle formation furthest away looks like a roman ruin, but it was just a really cool rock (that olivier's dad solo climbed in 9 minutes when he was in his 20's)

a tiny port at the end of the road near the chatel's house
the easy southern style officially posted- "go slowly in the mornings, not too fast in the evenings"

en route to marseilles, we stopped in the village of romans to check out one of their main industries... shoes!

the chatel's beautiful house, just below the rock mountains of the collonque

gilles and nicole arranged for us to eat traditional bouillabaisse, a treat requiring an early request to the restaurant days in advance
remembered on the beach front
let's not forget the reason for our grand adventure...

back to uriage, we stopped along the way at a couple of little villages, and to taste wine at the caveau de gigondas, north of avignon, east of orange

olivier + kelli = TLF
kelli and olivier host friends and family at their home in uriage for a most special wedding. not surprisingly, they are going above-and-beyond to pamper us, and to introduce us to new experiences, food, drink, and friends.

socializing before the ceremony at the herb farm, just over the hill
during dinner, the farm's dog slept at our feet. the food was incredible, the champagne and wine flowed like water, and we all visited until the wee hours of the morning. It was great to feel the support and love for kel and ol from so many.
wedding cheese! seriously, look at this cheese, we had to roll the windows down getting leftovers home, it was so yummily stinky. the cheese guy went big for his favorite customers.
wedding dessert! gals got lavender mousse with macaroons, the guys got chocolate mousse with macaroons. dee-lish.
