the finals for the boise poetry slam contest were held at the neurolux. wow, what an explosive show of talent and prose. guest poets were the lightening bug romantics from los angeles, stupendous. I particularly like the one called badass gangsta cupid.

great and wonderous news, my little nephew james taylor is home early due to impressive improvement after his hemispherectomy. he has months (years?) of rehab to go, but now that the family is under one roof, it's much more manageable.
