morning run

lynette, the gingersnap, lisa and i ran a short loop at camelsback, then tried out 'the district' coffee shop. it is comfy and eclectic, the grounds were good, and they provide prayer meetings and religious books if you need to save your soul.

flying M

the flying m coffee house had its 17th annual 'valentines for aids' art auction. artists contribute their wares, the coffee shop puts them on display, and the public has 2 weeks to bid. this was my 6th year contributing, and as usual i waited until the last minute. i found 2 wheelies from an old closet, 2 pins from a table leaf, a leftover piece of glass, a piece of metal my dad and i found walking Hdog, and mushed it all together. so far the bid is $180, with 4 days to go!
