hiatus

the blog took a bit of a hiatus as lynette had been fighting a tenacious battle with viral encephalitis. now that she's on the path to recovery, we can all say goodbye to St. Lukes, particularly rooms 3113 ICU, and 5022.

sawtooth relay

once again gluttons of punishment trek to Stanley for the sawtooth relay, a 62-mile run from stanley to ketchum, over galena summit. taking 7-9 hours, depending on speed & injury, and ends with a big party. this year, instead of running, i supported lynette's team as a volunteer.

lynette's team beat her husband's firemen team by 30 minutes. I'm thinking it has something to do with aero-dynamics.
