i had a few peeps over for my new old bbq's maiden grill. the grill didn't work, but we found a way to make food happen. then we went to watch the bike races downtown.

motorfest

i went to the motorfest with the artist who draws the 'cars' comic books for pixar. it just so happened we came across a boise look-alike of mater.

my friend ian has spent the last 2 years (and his savings) to design and create this amazing outdoor camping system. it's camping 'inside out', where the trailer unfolds to contain everything required for camping, including utilities, 2 tables & the huge shade structure. ruggidgear, check it out.

the top has a standard queen mattress, once you put it in there, it doesn't need to be moved. the tent portion unfolds like an accordian. this side has the electrical panel/water pump and such

and it all folds into this teeny tiny trailer! amazing. Bed on top, thin compartment for tables and shade awning/poles, then the rest of the works.
