remnants- hawaii walk

i found leftover pictures from the last day in hawaii. this is a hodge-podge and anti-chronological.

the eve before we left the island, there began a torrential downpour. the stream raged, i even saw a palm tree slide off the bank and float down toward our bridge. dirty water, dirty ocean. the airport closed templorarily, and a plane was struck by lightening. the toads (or frogs?) were all over the place.

a quick drink before heading to the airport. piso mojado indeed, right next to exposed wires.
