last summer outing

my last trip with pistol before the snow flies: first stop- mccall: scooting around the lake with scott, happy hour beers watching the sky. i was lucky to have a short visit with the parker clan before heading out

second stop: riggins, i headed upriver to party with the burningman tribe, a final gathering to dispel ourselves of leftover dustiness. around the country, hundreds of burningman groups do a "decompression" several weeks after the event. since burningman is such a powerful experience, many are not quite done feeling the vibe, & boise is no different. about 300 of us had one last hurrah.

our camp built the 'man' that we burned on the beach

our camp also made poutine for everyone from midnight-3am (poutine is a canadian comfort food consisting of french fries, gravy, and cheese curds). it was a big hit.
